Enterprise IT Architecture Management (EAM)
Background
Successful Enterprise IT architecture Management (EAM) — as independent studies show - has become one of the most important success factors for every company. The ability to develop integrated and automated solutions and to drive digital transformations, comprehensive know-how on enterprise IT architectures or EAM (business architecture, application and infrastructure landscape) is indispensable. Efficient fulfilment of these tasks requires up-to-date knowledge in the most important EAM fields of action as well as holistic problem-solving competence of the EA team.
Training and certification
The aim of this course is to provide the participants with comprehensive and action-oriented information in order to be able to cope more successfully with the diverse requirements and challenges in EAM today and in the future.
They receive up-to-date and practical application knowledge from all essential fields of action of architecture management (application and solution architecture, data and technology architecture as well as business and integration architecture). The seminar modules and live events focus on instruments, methods and solution approaches that provide suggestions and answers for typical questions, action situations and problems in the EAM context.
A special goal of the course is to support the participants in implementing what they have learned in their own field of work. The course is also suitable as an in-house event for the holistic further development of EA teams.
Upon passing the (voluntary) examination at the end of the course (homework with discussion), participants receive the CON-ECT certificate "EAM Manager". This certification provides proof of comprehensive, holistic competence acquisition in the field of enterprise IT architecture management.

How can one obtain the certification?
The knowledge and competences required to obtain the certificate can be acquired by participating in the 6 modules offered for this purpose.
The certification follows a three-stage procedure:
Stage 1: Proof of the acquired knowledge and competences (among other things through participation in the certificate course).
Stage 2: Preparation of a certification paper (concept or solution development from practical application)
Stage 3: a commissioned technical discussion.
After positive completion of the procedure, the certified person receives the certificate "Certified Enterprise IT Architect" as well as the right to use this certificate as a person until the due date of a possibly necessary recertification.
