The iSAQB® program of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB®) offers a standardised training and further education program in three stages. The CPSA Foundation Level is the first stage.
Subject-wise, the iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture training covers everything a software architecture specialist needs to know. The training modules deal with tasks, methods, techniques and technologies for the development of software architectures.

What are the options available for obtaining the CPSA-F Certificate?
Self-study:
There are no prerequisites for the CPSA-F Foundation Level certification exam, but you should have basic knowledge and an understanding of the following areas:

- Tasks and responsibilities of software architects
- The role of software architects in projects
- State of the art methods and techniques for the development of software architectures

Participation in a training course followed by a certification exam
While attendance of a course offered by an accredited training provider is recommended, it is not a requirement for taking the CPSA-F certification exam.

- 45 multiple choice questions
- Duration: 75 minutes (if necessary, an additional 15 minutes if the test is not taken in your mother tongue.)
